Hurtling toward half term!

Where did the time go?!
I have been kept very busy these last few weeks providing free audits to the schools within my locality. I have worked with many of them before but this was when I was employed by Derbyshire County Council and the work I did was generally reactive. It is really nice to now return to these schools and to see the improvements that have been made around their E-Safety provision. There is some great work going on in the classrooms and an acceptance that the internet is not going away so we need to embrace digital learning and help young people make their online choices as smart as safe as possible.
Headteachers are embracing the audits and using them as a springboard for best practice, picking up tips and information that will help strengthen their safeguarding of students, and ensuring they are better prepared for any inspection visits.
Today is an office day – a chance to send out all of those bits and pieces of information to schools that I have promised over the last week or so.
If you are interested in a free audit just drop me a line. I would be more than happy to help 🙂
